Too many teens, even those who grew up in camp, playground and pool programs, or work as summer counselors, remain unaware of the future possibilities open to them with parks and recreation as a career choice!
This 4-minute video is designed to introduce all your summer seasonals to such a future. Please schedule a few minutes during your training and orientation sessions this year to share this mind-expanding role of how recreation and parks can be a viable career choice for them. The credits at the end refer them to PRPS and our new portal to Pennsylvania colleges and universities that offer recreation management and related degree programs.
