Advocacy
PRPS is Pennsylvania's largest non-governmental advocate for recreation and parks, helping to protect and promote the profession at all levels.
Through its Governmental Affairs Committee, PRPS monitors state and federal legislation that affect parks, recreation, conservation, health and wellness and related issues, plans advocacy activities and periodically releases Legislative Updates or Alerts.
