Dauphin County Parks & Recreation is hiring a Part-Time Environmental Educator (2–3 days/week, year-round, including some weekends). The hourly rate is $18.00.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading environmental education and recreation programs for schools, community groups, and the public
- Planning and guiding park service groups
- Helping protect natural resources
- Creating interpretive displays and other educational materials
- Assist in the daily operations and administration of Wildwood Park and the Olewine Nature Center.
Graduation from high school or an accredited equivalency program; preferred bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation, environmental education, the natural sciences or related field.
