LIFEGUARD
Job Summary
The Derry Township Parks and Recreation is looking to hire Part-time Lifeguards for the Derry Township Community Center. Lifeguards assist in the maintenance of the swimming pools, monitors and records the pool chemistry, provides for the overall general health, safety, and enjoyment of the pool patrons. Lifeguards must attend all orientation and in-service training dates. The position works under the supervision of the Aquatics Specialist.
Clearances and certifications must be obtained prior to the beginning of employment.
License/Certification:
- American Red Cross Lifeguard/FA/CPR/AED and Administering Emergency Oxygen Certification (Training Provided)
- PA Child Abuse Clearance (Required)
- Mandated Reporter Training (Required)
- PA Criminal Background Check Clearance (Required)
- FBI Fingerprinting Clearance (Required)
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
Pay: $15.53 per hour
Work Location: In person
