SWIM INSTRUCTOR
Job Summary
The Derry Township Parks and Recreation is looking to hire Swim Instructors for the Derry Township Community Center. The Swim Instructor plans, organizes, and executes lesson plans, communicates descriptively and effectively with all ages, maintains a safe teaching environment, is comfortable with an instructor/student ratio of 1:4 or 1:6 based on ability level, and provides for the overall general health, safety, instruction, and enjoyment of lesson participants. The position works under the supervision of the Aquatics Specialist.
Looking for candidates with evening, daytime, and/or weekend availability. Flexibility is a plus!
Previous experience preferred, but not necessary.
Clearances and certifications must be obtained prior to the beginning of employment.
- PA Child Abuse Clearance (Required)
- Mandated Reporter Training (Required)
- PA Criminal Background Check Clearance (Required)
- FBI Fingerprinting Clearance (Required)
Pay: $16.21 per hour
