After School Facility Attendant
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM (school days)
The After School Facility Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment for patrons during peak afternoon hours. This role focuses on active supervision of the facility and its guests, with an emphasis on youth who use the space after school lets out.
Primary responsibilities include monitoring patron activity throughout the facility, promoting positive and respectful behavior, and enforcing all posted facility rules and safety guidelines. The attendant serves as a visible, approachable point of contact, redirecting inappropriate behavior calmly and consistently while helping ensure everyone enjoys the space responsibly.
The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, and comfortable engaging with a busy, high-energy environment. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain composed while managing groups are essential. Prior experience in recreation, education, childcare, or customer service is a plus. Must be 18+ for this position.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- PA Criminal Background Clearance
- PA Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training
