For almost 53 years, Wildlands Conservancy has been the Lehigh River Watershed’s leading land trust. As a part of a dynamic team, you will play a significant roll in moving our Wild About Learning program forward and educate the community on the importance of becoming future stewards of our natural world. In this role you will:
- Schedule Wild About Learning sessions with classroom teachers.
- Plan and lead educator training sessions.
- Teach Wild about Learning classes.
- Collaborate with the Environmental Education Manager on surveys and reports.
- Maintain records.
- Maintain inventory, order and prepare supplies.
- Prepare for and teach school programs as needed.
- Prepare for and teach summer camp programs as needed.
- Guide and mentor interns assigned to your summer camp group.
To be successful you will need:
· Two years’ teaching experience.
· BS/BA or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
· Ability to work independently and within a team.
· Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Leadership experience.
- Administrative experience a plus.
- Basic Spanish communication a plus.
- Willingness to train on and handle wildlife.
- Excellent people skills and the ability to deal professionally with all customers and colleagues.
- Ability to remain calm and confident during rapidly changing situations.
- Ability to lift twenty-five pounds.
- Current CPR/ First Aid and AED Certification or willingness to obtain is required.
- Current or willingness to obtain; Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Criminal History Clearance is required.
- Valid driver’s license.

Salary range $40,000 - $45,000/yearly ($19.23 - $21.63/hourly)
