The County of Butler is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Director with proven leadership, administration, aquatic, recreational programs, management, and supervisory experience. This position works directly with and in the absence of the Parks & Recreation Director. Oversees, plans, organizes and directs comprehensive recreation programs and facilities at Alameda Park & Pool Complex. Oversees the Program Manager along with seasonal personnel. Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation Management or closely related field and a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in Parks & Recreation management. A Master’s Degree in Parks & Recreation could serve as one of the three years of experience. Must be able to obtain Act 34 Clearance. Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, meeting management, project management, and leadership skills. Pay Grade 10 ($60,132-$84,185) and excellent benefits package.
