Are you new to closing a pool for the season? Do you need a refresher or have a question about best practices? Closing a pool and getting it ready for winter involves several key steps to protect your pool, equipment and supplies from freezing and winter damage. Water features also need to be winterized and require similar and unique procedures. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask the panel questions or share insights about your facility and situation during the roundtable.

Presenter: Todd Roth is the lead presenter and panel facilitator. He has served as the Aquatics Supervisor for Centre Region Parks and Recreation for over 20 years and is a Certified Pool Operator and Certified Park and Recreation Professional. Todd, along with other aquatic professionals, will explain the procedures they use at their facilities to ensure the safety of their equipment and a smooth spring opening.
