CPTED is a multidisciplinary approach aimed at reducing the perception of crime by focusing on the built environment and designing spaces that can deter the criminal element. This webinar will introduce participants to the four principles of CPTED and how their approach to environmental design can create safer spaces through the use of architecture, landscaping, and management that enhances the user experience and fosters a sense of community. In addition to basic design strategies, you will learn ways to make your parks and facilities safer for your clients. This webinar will give you several actionable items that you can implement today. Participants are eligible for 1 hour of Continuing education credit (.1 CEUs) for attending.
