Join us for this in-person learning and networking experience. The Community Parks and Programs Exchange is designed for local municipal managers, elected officials, recreation boards, volunteers, and park champions who wish to increase or improve their local community’s park and recreation offerings.

State and local experts will facilitate interactive sessions regarding the planning, funding, and maintaining of parks and green spaces in rural communities. This event includes a visit to local Wysox Community Park which has undergone significant development including a $300,000 park upgrade for walkways, play equipment, ADA access, and other site improvements, as well as an additional boat launch rehabilitation project thanks to multiple rounds of state funding within the last three years. We will end our day at the park with a session for including park maintenance in development plans.
