With over two decades of experience in athletic facility design and construction, Scott Grote is a recognized leader in the development of sport environments across the Mid-Atlantic. As the owner of Sport Court of Pennsylvania, Scott has led the design and installation of hundreds of courts and recreational surfaces for schools, parks, municipalities, and private clients.

For the past eight years, Scott has been at the forefront of the Padel movement in the United States—a sport that has grown from just 20 courts nationally to more than 400, with exponential growth projected in the coming years. He is the designer, builder, and owner of PADELphia, the first dedicated adult Padel club in the Northeast, located in Bala Cynwyd and operating since 2021.

Scott was also a founding partner of All Racquet Sports, one of the original promoters of Padel in the U.S. Through this venture, he helped lead a landmark project with the City of Philadelphia, installing two outdoor Padel courts on Venice Island in Manayunk—the first public Padel installation in the country. These courts served as an exhibition site to introduce the sport to the public and key players in the racket sports industry.

Today, Scott serves as the CEO of Absolute Padel USA, the only domestic manufacturer of Padel courts in North America, offering a U.S.-based solution to the rising demand for this fast-growing global sport. Scott’s deep industry knowledge, combined with his hands-on experience in court construction and club operations, gives him a unique perspective on how Padel is reshaping the athletic landscape in America—and why it's an exciting opportunity for Parks & Rec departments to consider for the future.
