Get the inside scoop on the Get Outdoors PA Mini-Grant program through the eyes of a successful grantee. Learn how the Blue Mountain Recreation Commission was successful in implementing a GOPA grant award. They will share their vision and how they were able to implement a solid series of programs throughout the year. Developing local partnerships was key in moving the programs forward. They will share what equipment was purchased and how essential it was to the implementation of program initiatives.

Centred Outdoors provided an open invitation to free, guided adventures across 9 sites in Centre County during the summer of 2017. Details about engaging various community partners, the program’s success and future plans will be detailed.

Learn how the Bureau of State Parks partnered with the Department of Health - Division of Cancer Prevention and Control to launch a small pilot program during summer 2017 to install sunscreen dispensers at two park locations.
