The Maintenance Institute Workshop
Join us for a day outdoors focusing on equipment safety and proper chainsaw technique. This session focuses on equipment safety demonstrations and hands-on opportunities supported by Mike Powell from Penn State University. We have also invited Harold Luther, Eastern PA Territory Manager at STIHL, USA for equipment support, demonstration, and his technical expertise.

9:00am – 9:15am              Introductions, opening remarks, and agenda overview

9:15am – 10:45pm            Equipment safety, proper handling, and overview

10:45am – 12:00pm         Chainsaw safety and equipment best practices

12:00pm – 1:00pm           Catered Lunch and networking

1:00pm – 2:00pm             Hands-on technique - cutting, clearing, bucking, and clean-up

2:00pm                              Wrap up and Dismiss
