About the Institute

The Pennsylvania Therapeutic Recreation Institute (TRI) has provided quality education and training for Therapeutic Recreation Specialists and Activity Coordinators for over 50 years. In 2020, we instituted a series of lunchtime presentations in lieu of the traditional gathering.  These sessions proved to be very popular and provided many professionals with the opportunity to learn and earn continuing education credits without travel.

Five of these sessions were recorded live and are currently available for later viewing and credit through December 31, 2021.

The TRI Lunchtime Sessions Series will provide participants with an opportunity to receive valuable training and education credits without leaving their desk.  The sessions lasts for 1- 1.5 hours and has been approved for continuing education credit.  Each session will also qualifies for .1 CEU from the National Recreation & Park Association.  This year’s Lunchtime Sessions Series promises to be a unique and exciting method for all TR professionals to receive training, share experiences, and learn new program ideas.
