Membership Dues are renewable on January 1 each year. New memberships received July 1 to September 30 pay 50% of the annual dues, which will be reflected in the shopping cart.  New memberships received after September 30 begin immediately and do not expire until the end of the following year.

Professional Membership

Individuals engaged in full-time recreation and park work.  $120

Discounted per person rates for organizations enrolling 3 or more Professional Members:
Groups of 3-10 professional members: $100 each
Groups of 11-25 professional members: $85 each
Groups of 26 or more professional members: $75 each  

Associate Membership

Individuals or organzation members including part-time or seasonal employees, volunteers, and individual board or commission members.  $50

Commercial/Corporate Membership

Those business firms offering products or services to the park, recreation and leisure services field.  $225

Board or Commission Member

Individual members of recreation and/or park boards of political subdivisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or board of directors of non-profit recreation related organizations. Member benefits will be provided via email and internet.  $20

Lifetime Membership

Indivdiuals desiring a lifetime membership.   $1,000

Retired Membership

Individuals having been employed full-time in recreation and parks whose employment was terminated due to retirement.  $50

Friend Membership

Individuals that wish to support the Society in advancing recreation and parks in Pennsylvania. All member benefits will be provided via email and internet. Open to individuals that do not qualify for other categories.  $20

*Individuals seeking eligibility to join the Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU) may purchase a Friend Membership for only $10 by selecting to join the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society when opening a new account at www.psecu.com.  PSECU will contribute $10 towards your $20 PRPS membership dues when you join during the PSECU online application process.  Click here to join: psecu.com

Patron Membership

Individuals or organizations interested in assisting the Society in the attainment of its aims and objectives by making an annual contribution of $300 or more.   $300

Student/Future Professional/Faculty Membership

Open only to students attending educational institutions on a full-time basis preparing for any phase of recreation and park work, and park and recreation faculty. All member benefits will be provided via email and internet. Free
