The TRI becomes TRVI for 2021!

The PRPS Therapeutic Recreation Branch is pleased to announce that this year’s annual Therapeutic Recreation Institute will be all-virtual this year or TRVI. The 2021 TRVI will be held from Wednesday, September 29 through Friday, October 8, with various informative and timely sessions and featured speakers. The TRVI kicks off on the mornings of Sept. 29 and 30. These ½ day sessions will feature a keynote speaker and a variety of presentations. On Friday, October 1, we will take some time to socialize, network, and have a little fun during an extended lunch hour.

During the week of October 4 -8, every day will feature a single informative session addressing issues of concern to therapeutic recreation. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the sessions will begin at noon. On Tuesday and Thursday, sessions are scheduled to start at 5:00 PM. All of the TRVI sessions will be recorded and available for attendee viewing (and credit) until December 30.

PRPS is in the process of applying for NCTRC credit hours and NRPA CEUs for every session. Attendees can earn up to 14 hours toward their certifications by attending the TRVI this year. The price for the TRVI is $150 for members and $250.00 for non-members. The price includes attendance, access to all recorded sessions, and NCTRC/CEU hours. In addition, non-members will receive a 1-year membership in PRPS. This membership entitles you to the latest research in the field, access to industry resources, and discounts on future training events, webinars, and classes.
